If you want to compose your own ringtones, you can use PSMPlayer to convert midi files to SMAF format. The PSMPlayer discussed below has a SMAF player in the Ringtone Transfer section. This allows you to play the SMAF files on your pc and hear what they will sound like on your phone. The player is very accurate and sounds almost exactly like the phone does.
1. Click here to download the PSMPlayer v3.80
http://www.geocities.com/mlyons100/s105_Software/PSM_Player.zip
2. After installing the above PSMPlyaer, you will be ready to convert MIDI files to SMAF. Start by opening the MIDI file in the PSMPlayer by selecting "File->Open" from the toolbar.
3. Then select "File->Create SMAF->SMAF 16chords(EZweb)". The "SMAF File Setting" window will pop up. I usually only change one value in this window. I set the "File size limit (byte)" value to 5120. This determines the length of the song, so having a lower value will allow you to store more ringtones on your phone. Just don't make it too small. Next, click OK to create the MMF file.
4. The new file is ready to be sent to the phone. You can now transfer the songs to your phone using the EasyGPRS application.
